Darragh from NCS delivered a presentation to our Y11-13 pupils this morning, outlining their social action project to potential applicants. The autumn project begins at the end of October and will end prior to Christmas, offering pupils the opportunities to complete a residential, skills workshops and devise a social action project. Furthermore, work with NCS can count towards pupils’ volunteering hours for their Millennium Awards.

Year 8 pupils who participated in the Young Enterprise ‘Your School, Your Business’ Seminar on Friday 8th September. This is an exciting and engaging way to introduce pupils to their new school. The younger pupils were ably assisted by Year 13 & Year 14 students who willingly gave up their free periods to help Adele and Eimear, the Young Enterprise Trainers.

If a pupil lives near Thompsons Corner they will have to go to the Faughan Valley stop as well as the buses cannot go to Thompsons Corner.
