The pupils' successes will be showcased at the Poetry in Motion Celebration Event in the Ulster Hall on 12th March
Project Business provides a dynamic experience for Year 10 students as they take on the role of a small business for the day. In addition to gaining an insight into enterprise, pupils are given an introduction to GCSE Business Studies, prior to making their subject choices. The pupils explored a range of key business concepts through a variety of practical group-based activities, such as setting up their own bead making business. The pupils had to buy materials from their suppliers and create beaded bracelets to sell to customers. The pupils also learnt about health and safety in the work place and quality control.
We were delighted to welcome HRH The Princess Royal to officially open our fantastic new school.
Congratulations to Michael, Tegan and Emma who have successfully progressed to the regional final of the Knights of Columbanus public speaking competition. The trio maturely tackled the topic of the death penalty and perceptively answered an unseen question from the adjudicators.
