Yr8 travelled to Nesswoods and Yr9 to Castlerock for the annual Science visits at the beginning of June. Projects included ‘Investigating plant diversity on the woodland floor’, ‘Competition between Bluebells and Woodrush’, ‘Considering land and sea breezes’ and ‘banded snail populations’ to name a few. As a reward for our pupils’ dedication and commitment this year, on the afternoon of Sports Day, the PTFA will host a FREE ‘Fun Afternoon’ for all Year 8-11s!
This morning, representatives from our school’s PTFA presented curricular, pastoral and extra-curricular leaders with grants to subsidise or fully support activities that enrich the pupils’ experiences at Foyle College.
