Dancing at Lughnasa

Congratulations to our GCSE Drama class on their excellent production of Brian Friel's famous 'Dancing at Lughnasa' for their moderation. Their use of voice, movement and facial expressions were effective and engaging as they transported the audience back to rural Donegal in the 1930s.

The pupils worked tirelessly to design and craft a minimalist composite set to accurately portray the genre of realism. Their production was also enhanced by the use of voiceovers, music and background images to fully set the scene and add a real sense of professionalism.
