Pupil Rewards

One of the PTFA's main fundraising objectives for this academic year is Pupil Rewards across all year groups within Foyle College.

This morning, pupils from Years 12, 13 and 14 were treated to a complimentary breakfast, courtesy of the PTFA, in recognition of their efforts throughout the past school year. The delicious selection of goodies were hugely popular with all pupils, with not a scrap going to waste!

Well done, everyone!

First Derry Church Forum

Some of our Year 13 and 14 pupils attended First Derry Church Hall along with a range of other representative groups for a forum with Mary-Lou McDonald, the leader of Sinn Féin.The discussion was hosted and chaired by Rev. David Latimer of First Derry Presbyterian Church.

William and Amber, members of the 'Amazing the Space' steering committee, outlined the instrumental role that they've played in the 'Peace Pledge' project. Our pupils spoke very eloquently and are great ambassadors for the school.

Many thanks to Rev. Latimer and his team for the invitation, opportunity and excellent hospitality.
