The National Space Academy will be hosting two FREE twilight teacher CPD courses based around the exciting Rosetta mission and the GCSE science topics that can be taught using the mission as a context on Monday the 15th and Tuesday the 16th of December.
The Academy’s Director, Anu Ojha OBE, will be delivering these sessions as part of the Academy’s drive to engage with teachers in Northern Ireland, and to raise the profile of the UK space sector with young people in the region.
The sessions will be held from 4.30pm-6.30pm in Londonderry and Belfast respectively, to allow teachers to attend without needing to arrange cover, and to give them time to get to the venues. The locations and times are as follows:
Monday 15th December
Twilight teacher CPD session 4.30pm – 6.30pm, Foyle College, Londonderry Public lecture 7pm – 8pm, Foyle College, Londonderry
Tuesday 16th December
Twilight teacher CPD session 4.30pm – 6.30pm, Ulster Museum, Belfast Public lecture 7.30pm – 8.30pm, Ulster Museum, Belfast
