Amazing the Space Yr 14

Year 14 pupils attended the 'Amazing the Space' event at the Eikon Exhibition Centre to mark International Peace Day. Our pupils, Adam McElhinney and Sophie Doherty, helped to organise the event in their role as Youth Peace Ambassadors. Adam assisted the BBC's Barra Best with his hosting duties in front of 3500 people!

We really enjoyed the performances from many different schools and the messages from various speakers, including the Deputy First Minister Martin McGuinness and the founder of the 'Amazing the Space' project, Reverend David Latimer.

We are really proud of Adam and Sophie, and all our Year 14s who represented the school today.
