Last year the Authority ran an extended pilot scheme for a number of schools which allowed parents to make applications for transport assistance on-line and receive an initial assessment indicating whether their child / children were eligible for transport assistance.
The purpose of this letter is to advise you that it is the Authority’s intention to extend this facility to include all Schools in the Education Authority, both Primary and Post Primary.
This means that all transport applications must be made on-line through the EA website
The on-line application service will be available from:
Primary School applications - 2nd May 2017
Post Primary School applications - 1st June 2017
Parents should be encouraged to apply before the 19th July 2017 as an offer of transport
assistance cannot be guaranteed for the 1st September 2017 if they make application after this date.
