Cross Country Feb 2013
Foyle College cross country team have had a fantastic beginning to the new cross country season, with an excellent performance at the oakgrove college cross country event on the 25th January 2013 and the district cross country championships on the 05th of February.
A total of 23 Foyle College students competed across 7 cross country races ranging from 1500m – 4500m.

A highly competitive and well represented Foyle College has seen some outstanding individual performances from the following medal winning students on the 25th of January:
Lauren Deveney 2nd Place Minor Girls. (1500m)
Rhys Hughes 3rd Place Junior Boys (2400m)
Greg Parkhill 5th Place Junior Boys (2400m)
Adam Carlin 6th Place Intermediate boys (4500m)
This was followed by excellent individual performances from the following students at the District Cross Country Competition on the 05th February:
Rhys Hughes 6th Place Minor Boys (2000m)
Joshua Lyle 9th Place Junior Boys (2500m)
This has automatically qualified the boys for the Ulster Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships on Wednesday 13th February.
Congratulations to all those runners who competed and who have been involved so far this year, we are confident that their success and progression will be sustained.
