NCS Success 2017

Nine pupils from Foyle College graduated from the local National Citizen Service Celebration, hosted at St. Columb’s Park House last night. The event recognised the achievements of the participants of the programme, particularly their involvement in Social Action Projects locally.

NCS allows young people to participate in adventure activities, helps them to develop new skills, and enables them to carry out Social Action Projects within their local community. Graduates will receive a signed certificate from the Prime Minister, as well as a 50 hour Millennium Volunteer Award at their regional graduation in Belfast later this month.

Well done to our pupils and thank you to Darragh Graham, National Citizen Service Coordinator, for enthusing our pupils during school assemblies and throughout the duration of the scheme!
