Liverpool John Moores University’s Northern Ireland Residential 2018 is now open for registrations. I would be grateful if you could direct interested Year 13 students to www.ljmu.ac.uk/NIResidential2018.
The Residential is funded by the University and is completely free for participants, including flights. It is a 3-day, 2-night event which will allow interested students to find out more about LJMU, their chosen course or subject area, and the city of Liverpool. This year it is taking place on 20-22 June, to coincide with our Open Day.
Our representatives will meet the pupils at Belfast International Airport and fly to Liverpool together. The programme will consist of workshops, talks and taster sessions as well as social activities giving participants a flavour of student life. They will be staying at Atlantic Point, one of accommodation halls used by the University, and will have plenty of opportunities to talk to our current students, tour LJMU facilities, participate in the Open Day and explore the city.
We will allocate available places available based on information provided in applications, mostly in supporting statements, and more specifically – applicants’ academic and extracurricular achievements, interest in LJMU and WP criteria.
