Jenny from Fact Check NI delivered an interactive presentation to our senior pupils this morning. The workshop informed pupils on how best to protect themselves online, research credible content and establish when news stories are potentially fictitious.
As part of their review of mental health services for children and young people, the NI Commissioner for Children and Young People (NICCY) would like all 11 – 21 year-olds to share their experiences of having sought or gained help in this area.
We have asked our pupils to go to www.niccy.org/SpeakYourMind to view the survey and complete it if they can.
Permission from parents/guardians is required, and further information is available at that address. The purpose of the survey is to help NICCY inform government on how to improve services.
