Child crime needs to stop

Child crime is now at an all time high as there are over 18,000 cases throughout the UK involving children between the ages of two and sixteen breaking into houses, shop lifting and petty assault.

Police urge that parents should keep a closer eye on their children, who they hang out with and how they spend their time.

"Young children these days are being brought up in the wrong environments which are causing them to think crime is acceptable" said a spokesperson on the BBC News website.  And We agree.  We know friends from around the city who are increasingly thinking that getting into trouble with the police is a passtime.  We, as teenagers, are often bored by listening to our parents preach to us but maybe we need admit that they should be doing it more and also that we should be listening to them more.
